BARCELONA, SPAIN, 17TH-20TH SEPTEMBER 2025
The Great Story of the Kingdom is the title of this conference, specifically designed for pastors, church planters, and leaders within the Vineyard partnerships movement across Europe.
We believe that Kingdom Theology offers the clearest and most faithful lens through which to understand and live out the message and ministry of Jesus today. The gospel He proclaimed — the Gospel of the Kingdom — was not just an idea, but the in-breaking of God’s future reign into our present. This is the story we want to tell, embody, and extend together.
We will gather as a European family in Barcelona, under the covering of our partnerships, to receive rich theological training and be equipped for what God is already doing in our nations.
Whether you’ve been leading for years or are just stepping into ministry, this space is for you. We are expectant for what God is going to do!
Derek Morphew is one of the Vineyard’s most respected and eminent theologians. Derek is also founding pastor of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Kenilworth, Cape Town, South Africa, and has served on the national leadership team of the Association of Vineyard Churches in South Africa. He has written over 15 books on the Kingdom of God and continues to engage with how the Kingdom addresses the cultural issues of today.
Tom and his wife Lesley are Senior Pastors of Croydon Vineyard, a multi-ethnic church in South London. He is studying for a doctorate with Fuller Theological Seminary and is on the Vineyard Leadership Team. He is a bit obsessed with Fantasy Premier League and is a sworn enemy of cold custard.
The programme consists of a series of theological lectures delivered by the speakers, followed by discussion blocks and practical application focused on the ministerial reality of our churches in the European context.
The conference will be held in English.
Simultaneous translation will be available through audio devices in the main European languages of the participants (provided there are enough participants for a given language).
Working groups will be organized by nationality to facilitate communication in each participant’s language.
